Amateur Radio:
I operate an Amateur Radio Station and can be found on most bands from 80m right though to 70cm. I use Morse, SSB, Data Modes, Satellite Comms, DMR, DSTAR etc. I am an active builder of equipment and also program using mainly Python or C#; Microcontrollers. I am keen user of DMR and HotSpots and programming Robotics.

I also monitor Meteors using Radio; normally using the Graves Radar but also the GB3MBA Beacon. Doing this lets me monitor Meteors even when it's cloudy and I also have a talk on this. I can sometime be found on top of Hengistbury Head with demonstration station monitoring them. I will be there for the peak of the Perseids meteors this coming August.

Being keen on communications, I watch the condition of the Sun regularly as it really affects communitions.
